Covid-19's Impact on NBA2K League Players (Part 2 of 5)

Written by: Boneman9000

To kick off Season 3 of the NBA 2K League, we linked up with players from multiple teams and across the country to see how they’ve been getting accustomed to being quarantined and remote play. We’re all different in the 2K community, so it was great to see how everyone reacted to the need to stay inside.

In this 5-part series, we get a behind the scenes look into the lives of Ramo (Pistons GT), TOXSIK (Magic Gaming), Lord BEEZUS (Jazz Gaming), Shuttles (Nets Gaming Crew), and oFAB (Celtics Crossover Gaming) to find out exactly how the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted them on both a personal and professional level.

We will also be asking the same questions to the 2K community, so make sure to keep an eye out on twitter (@the2kzone) for your chance to give your input on the question of the day. It will be interesting to compare the community's answers to the NBA 2K League players.

SECOND QUESTION

With social distancing and shelter in place guidelines in effect, many people have either learned that they are extroverts or have had their claim of introvert reaffirmed. Which are you, and when did you first learn that about yourself?

RAMO, Pistons GT

“I can be both at times, I guess, but it depends on my surroundings, but if I had to pick, I would say extrovert. Learned that when I made the league, to be honest.”

TOXSIK, Magic Gaming

“I am definitely an extrovert, I’ve been like that my whole life. It’s difficult during these times to be an extrovert, but I’m doing what I can.”

LORD BEEZUS, Jazz Gaming

“I've always been more of an introvert unless it comes to being around people I'm comfortable with or that I've known for a while. I would say I am more of a talkative and outgoing person when I’m around those people. I would say I learned that during my teenage years, so it wouldn't be something I just found out about myself.”

SHUTTLES, Nets Gaming Crew

“I’m an extrovert for sure. Not ashamed of that either. I do like to think I can balance both sides of the spectrum, going out with friends and whatnot, but at my core, I’m more of an extrovert.”

oFAB, Celtics Crossover Gaming

“I’m more of an introvert, and I knew that when I decided that I would rather read books or play 2k on a Friday night over partying with my friends. I really enjoy my personal time, and many people find me weird for that, but once people get to know me, they know that I’m the funniest, most outgoing guy ever, but 90% of the time, I want to be alone haha.”

Tomorrow we’ll come out with part three of this five-part series. We’ll also include how most people fared in today's poll, so be on the lookout for that.

For now, I bid you adieu.
